Khadi Handmade Nepalese Mitsumata Washi Paper (54x80cm) Single Sheets

Made using the traditional Japanese nagashizuki dipping and layering method of papermaking, this handmade artists' paper is made from the inner bark or bast fibre of Mitsumata (Edgewothia Papyrefera), a plant known as Argeli in Nepal and native to the Himalayan foothills. Smooth in texture, it is lighter toned and softer than Lokta, and is ideal for drawing with ink, calligraphy, printmaking and bookbinding. Available in either 30gsm or 60gsm. 

Each sheet measures approximately 54x80cm. Sold per sheet.
