Khadi Handmade Bhutanese Tsasho Paper (58x84cm) Single Sheets

Made from the inner bark or bast fibre of De-nar, a variety of the Daphne Bholua plant native to the Himalayan foothills of Bhutan, Tsasho is a 100gsm handmade artists' paper ideal for ink, calligraphy and printmaking. Made on a laid mould of split bamboo which gives a laid pattern to each sheet, the paper is couched and dried naturally on a mud wall, giving a rustic appearance. With a darker tone and harder surface than Nepalese Lokta and Mitsumata, this paper has a medium texture. 

Each sheet measures approximately 58x84cm. Sold per sheet.
