Winsor & Newton Artists' Picture Cleaner (75ml)

Designed for cleaning varnished paintings, this natural resin/oil emulsion contains ammonia that dissolves oxidised linseed oil, removing surface dirt and the products of oxidation from old varnish. Shake well before and during use, and work gently in small areas using soft cotton wool pads. Once cleaning is complete, remaining cleaner must be removed using distilled turpentine. 

Please be aware that cleaning any picture presents risk and if in doubt, paintings should only be cleaned by a competent picture restorer.
